Health Affairs hosted their “Financing Long-Term Services and Supports” briefing today in Washington, D.C., where speakers discussed a new study examining how policy changes could expand insurance’s role in financing long-term care needs.

At the event, The SCAN Foundation debuted “America’s Long-Term Care Crisis,” a new film by DB Productions that explores the sizable burden individuals and families often endure due to a lack of affordable and accessible financing solutions for long-term care.

“America’s Long-Term Care Crisis” was cast and directed by DB Productions’ Oscar-nominated filmmaker Robin Honan.
