Sundance announced their 2014 Festival selections yesterday, and we congratulate our collaborators whose films were selected! E-TEAM (directed by Katy Chevigny and Ross Kauffman) and Captivated: the Trials of Pamela Smart (directed by Jeremiah Zagar) were both selected.
E-TEAM chronicles the courageous and high-stakes work of three audacious human rights workers. The documentary follows their fearless spirits around the world as they work to expose and end human rights abuses. The film was produced by Marilyn Ness, and Jamie Boyle was Assistant Editor.
Captivated recalls Pamela Smart’s 1991 murder trial, one of the highest-profile criminal cases of all time. As the first trial to be televised, the film examines the lasting impacts of media attention.
The 2014 Sundance Film Festival takes place in Park City, Utah, from January 16th to the 26th. Congratulations to Katy, Ross, and Jeremiah, and best of luck!
